Sugunakka calls for grand success of CM Revanth Reddy’s Asifabad visit
Kumuram Bheem Asifabad: District Congress Committee (DCC) President Athram Sugunakka called upon party leaders, workers and the public to ensure the successful conduct of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s visit to Kumuram Bheem Asifabad district on June 1.
Addressing a press conference at the District Congress office on Saturday, Sugunakka said the Chief Minister would begin his tour by inaugurating 28 Indiramma houses constructed for Kolam Adivasi families in Kothari village of Kerameri mandal.
He would later participate in a massive public meeting at Kagaznagar X-Roads. She stated that the Chief Minister would formally launch the implementation of the second phase of the Indiramma Housing Scheme across the state from the public meeting venue.
Describing the scheme as a historic initiative of the Congress government, Sugunakka said it was aimed at fulfilling the dream of home ownership for poor families.
The DCC president informed that Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, along with several state ministers and public representatives, would attend the programme. The meeting would also serve as a platform to highlight the government’s welfare and development initiatives among the people, she added.
Sugunakka appealed to district residents, Congress leaders and party activists to participate in large numbers and make the event a grand success. She said arrangements for the Chief Minister’s visit and the public meeting were progressing swiftly.
